Content Updates

 The InfoCube paging system receives regular updates of entertainment content keeping the novelty new and fresh. Each Pager receives its updates from The InfoCube base, which can connect to any PC USB or serial port. The InfoCube can even connect to a standard phone line or high speed internet connection for remote updates during nonbusiness hours. Content updates can be done by you or arranged monthly.

Features and Functions:

 Restaurant Statistics:

  The InfoCube System maintains the average waiting time, number of pages and walk-aways. This invaluable information can be obtained directly from the base unit or EPD, Inc. can optionally provide corporate weekly or monthly reports of all family restaurant statistics.

 Adjustable Out-of-Range notification:

  When a patron travels too far from the restaurant they will be politely notified to get closer. Notifications are accompanied by sound, vibration and visual indications. The distance a patron can travel before being notified is controlled by the restaurant.

 Anti-Theft system:

  When a pager has notified the patron for several minutes, the pager can optionally increase the audible sound level and aggressively notify the patron. The hostess is also notified of the pager distance through visual indication and optional sound.

 Visual page conformation:

 When the hostess pages a patron, the base unit will provide a conformation of the page. When the base indicates a successful page, the hostess knows the patron has been notified.

 Visual pager status:

 The InfoCube base shows every pager that has been handed out. It shows which pagers have been paged, whole party or individual and if a pager is Out-of-Range.

 Whole party or individual pages:

  The InfoCube pager can page the whole party or request that one individual from the party see the hostess. Stop calling large groups of people to the podium just to ask one person a question.

 Energy conserving features:

  The InfoCube system incorporates adjustable power to save battery life. Each pager will adjust its transmitter power level to maintain contact with the base, but only using the minimal power required thus saving valuable battery life.

 Rechargeable pagers:

  Each pager will automatically charge when returned to the base.

 Adjustable channels:

  The InfoCube paging system allows an operator to select from over forty different channels. This allows over forty paging systems to operate in the same room, thus preventing interference from other systems that may be in operation.
